X-men VS Street Fighter
(LAST UPDATE: 4/27/06)

Profile

General: The first cross-over game ever hit the arcades with a bang... Fans of Street Fighter started fights with fans of Marvel all in the love of fighting games... A beautiful scene it was. X-men VS Street Fighter used the same gameplay style as Marvel Super Heroes, giving characters the ability to "Super Jump" and unleash amazingly big super moves... This game was the first game to feature tag-team gameplay, as you can switch your first character with your second at any time... Fans had certainly never seen anything like this before, and a new hit series was born... The VS series...
Manufacturer: Capcom
Platforms: Arcade, Playstation, Sega Saturn

Comment: Definitely one of my favorite games at the time... A dream come true for a dork like me. But as soon as people started learning about "Infinites," where you simply cannot escape from a combo, this game turned into a sloppy mess of who can get their infinites off first... Still a fun game, yet very very broken.
