General: CVS2
fixed many of the original's problems, added a few new characters from
both companies, and made a much more playable and enjoyable game overall.
Now there are 6 "grooves" from both sides, each representing several Capcom
and SNK game's power gauges, (including P-groove for parrying, my favorite!).
The graphics are done nicely overall... However, the 3D backgrounds somewhat
make the 2D sprites look out of place a times. Other than that, CvS2 is
a nice addition to the series, and a very enjoyable 2D fighter overall.

Comment: A
fun game to play casually, but kind of a "mess" in high-level, tournament
play. Pokes are over-used, and commonly, "easy to use" characters are used
to dominate, and bring a bit of unbalance to the game... Not to mention
"roll cancelling." But that's besides the point, CvS2 is a good effort
from Capcom, and fun to play overall... A dream for veteran 2D fighting
game fans.
