Maxi is the young leader of a carefree crew of pirates sailing the high seas. Maxi can turn any battle to his advantage by using his six ever-changing stances to confuse the enemy and attack blows to throw off the enemy's attack timing. He uses the nunchaku with the fighting style of Shissen Karihadi.

Come on, give it up... WATAAAHHH!!! Maxi's style and persona is vivid and memorable to say the least, and Namco did an outstanding job on nailing the animation of his unique nunchaku style which has "become" him. Some might call him an elvis impersonator, but hey, he's got a unique style to the fighting game world.
