As the rival of Genjuro,
Haohmaru is the "hero" of Samurai Shodown. He uses the traditional katana
in battles, and always carries a canteen of sake with him. His "mentor"
is none other than Nicotine.
Haohmaru is based on a real man who lived from (1584-1645), Miyamoto Musashi.
Mikoto
is his niece.

got crazier and crazier with every sequel... No doubt he was the inspiration
of Mitsurugi's 2nd player
outfit in Soul Calibur 2. An awesome character with a vivid personality
and some kickass moves.
