Hanzo is a full-blooded
ninja, as he uses the ninjato as his weapon. He has two sons, Kanzo and
Shinzo, one of which has been possessed by Amakusa.
Hanzo is also based on a real man, Hattori Hanzo Masashige, who was the
leader of the Iga ninja clan
of Japan... His name also appeared in the 1980 movie "Shadow Warriors,"
as well as in 2003's Kill Bill.
